Customs procedure for belongings of migrants
To respond to the official letter No
6125/HQTP-NV of Hochiminh City Customs Department concerning customs procedure
for goods manufactured by special export processing enterprises (SEP
enterprises) and exported as belongs of migrants as provided for in Decree No
154/2005/ND-CP of December 15, 2005 of Government, Circular No 112/2005/TT-BTC
of December 15, 2005 of Ministry of Finance, General Department of Customs
issued the official letter No 3292/KTTT of June 18, 2007 as follows:
Goods manufactured by SEP
enterprises in Hochiminh City and exported as belongings of migrants shall be
applied customs procedure for goods transition in accordance with provision as
provided for in Article 18, Decree No 154/2005/ND-CP of December 15, 2005 of
Government, Point 5, Part B, Circular No 112/2005/TT-BTC of December 15, 2005 of
Ministry of Finance and the Customs Procedure for goods exported, imported and
transited through border gates issued together with Decision No 927/QD-TCHQ of
May 25, 2006 of General Department of Customs.
It requests that
the Director of Hochiminh City Customs Department shall be responsible for
direct related Customs units in guiding SEP enterprises to properly register
forms of import-export, and in closely cooperating with each others to soundly
implement current provisions on the Customs Procedure for goods transited
through border gates
